Colleague voices

At Settle, we’re more than just colleagues – we’re a community. We want everyone to feel a sense of belonging, knowing your voice matters and that you can confidently contribute. Every colleague plays a role in shaping the future of Settle, which is why we create plenty of opportunities for you to make a difference.

Hearing from colleagues

We’re proud of the amazing work happening across Settle. Every month, we come together for Team Brief, where we catch up on the latest updates and share successes. Whether in person at Blackhorse Road or via Teams, these mornings are filled with energy and are a chance to hear from colleagues across different teams, reconnecting with our shared purpose and remembering why we’re passionate about working in social housing.

Homefest is another opportunity for colleagues to share stories, achievements, and plans for the year ahead, ensuring we celebrate both the work we’ve done and what’s to come.

Your voice matters

At Settle, feedback is not just encouraged – it’s integral to how we operate and continuously improve. We regularly seek input from colleagues through our annual and pulse engagement surveys, workshops, focus groups, and informal check-ins to make sure we’re in tune with what matters most to you. We want you to feel confident that your voice can truly influence the way we work and contribute to shaping Settle.

Ways to engage

Colleague-led engagement groups are vital to the way Settle operates. We encourage colleagues from all areas of the organisation to get involved, ensuring every team is represented and can contribute to the important work of these groups.

Settle Forum

The Settle Forum meets monthly to discuss and drive changes that impact how we work. Members represent their teams, bringing feedback and thoughts to guide decisions and ensure the voice of every colleague is heard. This leads to meaningful improvements that make a real difference to you.

Together We Care

The Together We Care group is focused on mental health and colleague wellbeing, raising awareness of wellbeing initiatives, events, and resources to support mental and physical health.

Value Everyone

The Value Everyone group leads the way in promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion at Settle, celebrating the contributions and lived experiences of individuals.

Mental Health First Aiders

Our Mental Health First Aiders programme trains colleagues to recognise signs of mental ill-health and confidently guide others to appropriate support. Colleagues receive specialist training, with their vital work helping to reduce stigma, encourage open conversations, and create a positive, supportive culture for wellbeing at Settle.

Innovation Forum

The Innovation Forum is open to all colleagues, offering a space to explore new ideas and think creatively. It’s a place to collaborate, share ideas, and engage in discussions to find innovative solutions to real challenges, benefiting Settle, our colleagues, and customers alike.

At Settle, we believe in the power of your voice – and together, we’re shaping a place where everyone’s input makes a difference.
